I wanted to send our thanks to everyone who sent their kind thoughts/wishes/messages to both ourselves and Charlotte during the past few weeks whilst she has been poorly and also in hospital. It has been a very worrying time and it is nice to know that people were thinking about Charlotte whilst she's been away from swimming. Charlotte was particularly over the moon at receiving texts from some of her friends in C Squad; it made her feel like she was still being included and cheered her up a lot. She was also chuffed when Ian, Beth and Heather very kindly came round to bring her a Build-A Bear dressed in a bikini as a result of a collection that was sent round people at swimming. It is lovely of people to have contributed and Charlotte really appreciated it and it now has pride of place on her bed!
