Magnificent Seven at Radford Open
Thirteen SCSC swimmers took on talented competition ranging from Liverpool and Salford down to Bishop Stortford and Millfield in the 30th annual Radford Level 1 Open Meet at Ponds Forge on 14 and 15 April which saw City of Salford take top club honours.

The quality of swimming was amazing, with many national qualifiers present. The swimmers came away with seven top three finishes:

• Olivia Beavers 2nd in the Girls 14yrs 50m Breast and 3rd in the Girls 14yrs 50m Free,
• Magnus Linn 2nd in the Boys 11yrs 50m Free,
• Jacob Trueman-Marsden 2nd in the Boys 11yrs 100m Back,
• Shem Fair 3rd in the Boys 11yrs 1500 Free,
• Stephanie Senior 3rd in the Girls 15yrs 800 m Free
• Hope Middleton 3rd in the Girls 200 m Breast.

Special mention goes to Shem Fair who took on the daunting 1500 Free and did fantastic.
